Conductor Resistance
Resistance of a length of wire/cable given its material and cross-section. Uses R = ρ·L/A with resistivity looked up from the materials database.
Limitations: Straight conductor at 20°C. For voltage drop in a circuit (round-trip × current), use the Wire Voltage Drop tool instead.
What to do next: AWG → mm² conversion: 14 AWG ≈ 2.08 mm², 12 AWG ≈ 3.31 mm², 10 AWG ≈ 5.26 mm², 8 AWG ≈ 8.37 mm².
